    This is the first release of Cinch, a small video compression and trimming app built for anyone who needs to get their clips under file size limits.

    What you get

    • Smart target-size encoding (just pick a size, Cinch figures out the rest)
    • Precision trimming with timeline and filmstrip
    • Hardware acceleration support (NVENC, AMF, Quick Sync)
    • Live preview before you commit

    Installation

    1. Download cinch.exe from the assets below
    2. Place it wherever you want
    3. Make sure you have FFmpeg installed and on your PATH
    4. Run it

    That's it. No installer, no registry entries, no fuss.

    • Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
    • FFmpeg on PATH
